Island Paws Pet Sitting provides full service, professional
pet care in the comfort of YOUR home.
Island Paws Pet Sitting was started in the summer of 2007
by Karen Ward-Linker. After receiving her undergraduate
and Master's degree in Business Administration, Karen
spent the last 14 years in marketing and pharmaceutical
sales. Karen has recently left the corporate world to
pursue a business centered around her love for animals.
Karen has spent many years helping abandoned and
abused animals, volunteering with animal organizations,
and fostering rescued animals in her home. Her lifelong
dream has been to work with animals full time. Island
Paws Pet Sitting has brought that dream to life. Karen is
also experienced in working with geriatric and special
needs animals, including administering shots and fluids.
Karen lives on the Isle of Palms with her husband, Dr. Paul
Linker, son, Sanders, and her beloved dogs.
